Owner-led from start to finish
Keith Bacon
Owner, Organic Carpentry
When you contact Organic Carpentry, you are not entering a sales pipeline or being handed from one department to another. You are starting a conversation with the person responsible for understanding the project and making sure the work meets the company’s standard.
That direct connection matters. Residential projects happen in the places where people live, gather, work, and relax. Good service requires more than technical skill; it requires listening carefully, communicating clearly, respecting the property, and following through.
Keith works alongside a small crew of two employees. The scale of the company keeps the work personal and accountable while providing the capability to handle projects across the home and property.
What quality means here
Quality is not an upgrade added at the end. It is the accumulation of choices made throughout the project, including the choices a customer may never see once the work is finished.
Our working principles
A lasting repair or improvement begins with a sound diagnosis. We take the time to understand the conditions, the intended use, and the result you want before recommending a path forward.
You should know what is being proposed and why it matters. Clear conversation helps establish realistic expectations and allows better decisions about scope, materials, and priorities.
The project is only one part of your property. Protecting adjacent surfaces, keeping an orderly site, limiting disruption, and cleaning up properly are part of completing the job.
Preparation, structure, drainage, fastening, sealing, and other less-visible details often determine how long the visible finish lasts. They deserve the same attention.
Completed work should not merely photograph well. It should operate properly, feel natural to use, suit the home, and continue doing its job through ordinary wear and changing seasons.
The goal is to leave work that never requires a callback. If something does not meet your expectations, however, we want to hear about it and have the opportunity to make it right.
One property, connected systems
Homes do not divide themselves neatly into trades. A leaking door can affect framing, trim, siding, paint, and flooring. A deck may need to relate to grading, drainage, landscaping, and access. Exterior paint may reveal wood that needs repair before it can be protected.
Experience across different kinds of work makes it easier to recognize those connections. It also means one conversation can account for the project as a whole instead of treating each visible symptom in isolation.
