Our services

Work that holds up to a closer look.

Organic Carpentry handles a broad range of projects inside and outside the home. What connects them is a consistent standard: understand the problem, prepare carefully, use suitable materials, and complete the details properly.

Finding the right service

Start with what you want to improve.

Some projects fit neatly into one category. Others do not. A damaged exterior door may involve trim, siding, water management, and paint. A new patio may require grading, drainage, landscaping, and material delivery. That overlap is normal.

You do not need to diagnose every part of the job before calling. Tell us what you are seeing, what is not working, or what you would like the space to become. We can talk through the conditions and determine which kind of work the project requires.

Each service guide explains how the work is evaluated, planned, prepared, completed, and cared for.

01

Decks

A deck must do more than look inviting. Its framing, connections, footings, drainage, stairs, and railings all contribute to how safely and comfortably it performs.

Landscaping

  • Grading and drainage considerations
  • Practical outdoor transformations

03

Hardscaping

Patios, walkways, and retaining features depend on what is underneath them. Excavation, base preparation, compaction, pitch, and edge restraint determine whether the finished surface remains stable.

  • Walkways and transitions
  • Retaining and site features

Siding

Siding is part of a system that manages water and weather. Good repair work looks beyond the visible damage to understand why it occurred and what needs protection behind the finish.

  • Damaged trim and substrate work
  • Replacement and finish integration

Interior Painting

The quality of a painted room depends heavily on the work completed before the finish coat. Protection, cleaning, repairs, sanding, priming, caulking, and careful application all matter.

  • Walls, ceilings, and trim
  • Surface repair and preparation
  • Durable, appropriate finishes

Exterior Painting

Exterior coatings protect as well as decorate. Existing paint condition, moisture, weather, compatible products, and thorough preparation shape both the appearance and longevity of the result.

  • Siding, trim, and exterior details
  • Scraping, repair, and priming
  • Weather-conscious application

Doors

A door should open cleanly, close securely, seal against the weather, and sit naturally within the surrounding trim. Correct installation addresses the opening as a whole.

  • Hardware, trim, sealing, and finish

Custom Woodworking

Custom work begins with the space and the way it needs to function. Dimensions, proportions, wood movement, joinery, finish, and surrounding architecture guide the solution.

A consistent standard

Different projects. The same attention to detail.

Look beyond the surface

Visible damage is often a symptom. We consider the surrounding conditions so the work addresses the problem instead of merely concealing it.

Prepare for the finish

The parts that disappear are often the parts that make the result last. Preparation is treated as part of the work, never as an optional extra.

Use materials appropriately

A good product can still fail in the wrong application. Materials and methods should suit the location, exposure, use, and existing construction.

Finish with care

Alignment, transitions, edges, cleanup, and final adjustments shape how completed work looks and feels every day.
